Lightning equipment

 

Light is the essence of every photograph. We don't talk about the quantity of light but of it's quality. With flash durations of up to 1/12000 s., a recycling time of as low as 0.05 s. and a Flash-to-Flash color stability of +/-40 K only, STAR Photo is convinced, that the Lightning equipment from Profoto is doing the job.

 

Camera

 

The cameras, which STAR Photo works with to capture images, come from Canon and Hasselblad.

 

Image editing

 

Image editing is performed on Mac.

 

Others

 

Equipment which supports our shoots come from Hensel, FOBA, Manfrotto, Lastolite and others. 

STAR Photo Co., Ltd., and its studio, is located in Pattaya Thailand. Pattaya is a great getaway point to go to various locations. Shall it be a mega city like Bangkok, idyllic beaches, paradise-like islands, jungles, access to the world by its two nearby international airports?

Pattaya is known as the largest open sea-bath in Asia attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Because of this fact, Pattaya hosts numerous 5-star hotels, beside over 250 others, world class shopping malls, water parks, zoos, numerous world class golf courses, and a nightlife, which will make you have a hard time to concentrate on the subject.

All of these offers a superb variety of scenes and backgrounds.

At this very place, with such varieties, STAR Photo has its studio to just complete every need of a clients demand. Our facilities include a wardrobe, make-up and relaxing room, a welcome area, office and two picture post processing working stations - beside the studio itself of course.

If there is a project which requires more studio space, STAR Photo is affiliated with the Hasselblad studio in Bangkok. 

Directions:

 

Coming on Sukhumvit Rd. from North (Bangkok/Chonburi)

 

Take a right turn into the North Pattaya Rd., which is the intersection shortly after the Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital. The Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital is on the right when coming from Bangkok/Chonburi. Opposite from the Bangkok-Pattaha Hospital is a Mc. Donalds (on your side of driving).

 

Coming on Sukhumvit Rd. from the South (Rayong)

 

Take a left turn into North Pattaya Rd., which is the intersection after the ramp, leading to the highways 7 and 36.

 

Coming from highway 7 (Bangkok) or 36 (Rayong)

 

From the ramp, which leads into Sukhumvit Rd., direction Rayong., make a U-turn (before the central Pattaya Rd. Intersection) and follow the same direction as described above in "coming on Sukhumvit Rd. from the South (Rayong)".

 

Traveling on North Pattaya Rd.

 

Cross over the next two intersections. Turn left at the next possibility (after the long stretched Bldg. which is under construction) and park the car on the parking space, as shown on the "Zoomed in on Map" slide. You can also park along North Pattaya Rg. beside the Pattaya Bazaar Bldg.

 

Coming on 2nd Rd. from Central Pattaya

 

Make a right turn at the end of the last curve on 2nd Rd. (after Tiffanys, which is on the left side). You can park the car along the street or turn right into the parking field, as shown on the map on the next slide.

 

By Baht Bus

 

The blue Baht buses travel along 2nd Rd. Tell the driver to stop after the Tiffanys theater right before the La Piola Italian Restaurant. Be careful when crossing the street and go 30m into the street on the opposite side. There on the left is the entrance to the Pattaya Bazaar.
